Does anything leave my Mac?

No meeting data. Private mode has no iCloud sync, no AI connectors and no product analytics. Meetly downloads its speech and summary models once, then works offline.

Is it HIPAA compliant? Does it protect privilege?

Processing stays on your device and EdgeFirst never receives your recordings. Whether that meets your obligations depends on your practice and jurisdiction, so check with your compliance lead or counsel.

Do I still need consent to record?

Yes. Recording laws apply wherever you are. Tell the people in the room.

Can my whole firm use it?
